Josh Marris
A passionate golfer and entrepreneur, Josh provides the vision and leadership for CHIP’d. From 2012 to 2014, Josh led a team of software engineers and mobile developers to create the golf statistics platform GRGS. Following it’s launch, he secured a strategic partnership with the LPGA Tour. Josh has been a member of the PGA of Australia since 2010 and aims to grow the game of golf through innovative technology that attracts millennial and Z-gen players to the game of golf.
Anil Agarwal
Anil has been the Senior Director of Engineering & Product Development at Skyworks for the past 14 years. Prior to that, he was the President and co-founder of Voice-It (1991 to 1999), which introduced the first flash memory based ultra thin solid state voice recorder to replace analog audio recorders. The company grew to generate $40 million in sales annually with over 20 products. Anil has PhD’s in Physics and Electrical Engineering.
Tom Russell
Tom co-founded Voice-It with Anil, where he developed over 20 products that utilized his extensive knowledge in voice signal processing, memory management, display interfaces, communication protocols, and advanced algorithms to provide easy to use highly sophisticated and successful consumer devices. Since then, he has also developed several projects for the Internet of Things space using WiFi, Bluetooth and proprietary wireless protocols.
Bob Angers
In his 14 years at Skyworks, Bob led a team of engineers and Skyworks products into Apple to generate over $1 billion in sales. Bob is positive that we will see technology inside sports equipment in the near future and is excited to be involved in the early stage development of the Internet of Sports.

As Srixon Brand Manager, Chris managed a $6 million marketing budget and was responsible for relationships and strategy across all media, including NBC, the golf Channel, Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, and multiple internet partners. Chris was with Srixon/Clevenland Golf for a total 18 years. He is currently the VP of Marketing for Soberlink, the leader in mobile-breath sobriety technology.
Mike Benvenuti
Mike has over 30 years experience in the recurring revenue, multi-site, service sector. He is an Expert in Residence at the UCI Institute of Applied Innovation and serves as an Advisor to several companies. Mike is also an Investment Committee Member and Investor of the Cove Seed Fund. He has significant experience and expertise in sales and marketing, business development, finance, business planning and all aspects of customer operations.
Paul Voois
Paul is a visionary entrepreneur, senior executive and early stage investor with track record of building successful companies in the networking and semiconductor industries. He is currently a Vice President in Tech Coast Angels, where he invests in technology startups with areas of focus including Internet of Things (IoT), big data, semiconductors, wireless & wired networking, and health care analytics. Paul was a co-founder, Chief Strategy Officer and former CEO at ClariPhy Communications, which was acquired by Inphi for $300M in 2016.
